Founder Biography

Tadele Kebede is the founder of CBOW (Chrome Beatz On Wheels) and NGMT LLC, a visionary builder whose life story reflects resilience, purpose, and transformation.

Born on a coffee farm in Ethiopia, he learned hard work early while helping his family harvest and sell coffee. After his family was displaced by ethnic conflict and civil unrest, he lost his father and their land but not his determination.

At 17, he joined the Ethiopian Navy, serving with honor for six years before a service injury ended his military career. Refusing to give up, he turned to education and founded Unity, Royal, and Queen’s Colleges, three of Ethiopia’s first private colleges, helping thousands of students gain access to higher education.

After immigrating to the United States, he rebuilt his life once more training in manufacturing, aerospace machining, computer systems, and business operations while supporting his family and displaced mother.

In 2025, he launched CBOW in Seattle, Washington, a next-generation transportation experience that merges AI, music, and mobility. CBOW was born from his belief that progress should create opportunity, dignity, and hope for working families.

His mission:

Rebuild with purpose. Innovate with heart. Empower communities.
