Why Music Found Me

Our Story

“Sometimes pain lives quietly in the heart until it finds another way to speak.”

For many years, some feelings lived quietly inside me.

Questions I never asked.

Pain I rarely spoke about.

Memories I carried silently.

Life gave me many experiences love, sacrifice, separation, struggle, rebuilding, gratitude, and hope. Some moments brought happiness. Others brought pain that quietly remained in the heart for many years.

As a child, I experienced separation from family before I fully understood its meaning. Questions stayed inside me for decades. Later came military service, hardship, responsibility, loss, disappointment, and the challenge of rebuilding life again in a new country.

Like many people, I learned how to continue moving forward even while carrying invisible weight.

Outwardly, life continued.

Responsibilities grew.

Family grew.

Dreams changed.

But deep inside, some emotions remained.

The pain of unanswered questions.

The memory of sacrifice.

The sadness of loss.

The feeling of starting over.

The quiet burden of carrying things that words could not always explain.

For many years, I kept these feelings inside.

Not because I wanted to

But because life teaches many of us to remain strong and keep moving.

Then, over time, I discovered something important:

Music can speak where words sometimes cannot.

Music became more than sound to me.

It became comfort.

Reflection.

Memory.

Healing.

A place where emotions could breathe without needing explanation.

Some feelings are difficult to say aloud.

But somehow, music understands.

The music later connected to CBOW (Chrome Beatz On Wheels) was never created simply for entertainment.

It came from life.

Real memories.

Real emotions.

Real experiences.

Many songs are inspired by family, sacrifice, Ethiopia, Seattle, healing, gratitude, struggle, hope, and the quiet strength required to continue moving forward after hardship.

This music was never created for fame.

It was created from the heart.

To comfort.

To remember.

To bring peace.

And perhaps to remind others of something important:

Even when life carries pain

Beauty can still grow from it.

Sometimes the things we carry silently inside eventually become something meaningful.

For me

It became music.
